Everyone is invited to participate in the course, regardless of their experience level. Yet, for those aiming to take the SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification exam, the following prerequisites are strongly recommended:

• Basic understanding of Agile concepts and principles.
• Awareness of Scrum, Kanban, and eXtreme Programming (XP).
• Practical knowledge of software and hardware development processes.

Participants who successfully pass the certification exam will be awarded:

• A SAFe Scrum Master certificate.
• A digital badge for SAFe 6 Scrum Master to showcase their achievement online.
• One-year membership as a certified SAFe Scrum Master, including access to the SSM Community of Practice.
• A guide on how to use the SAFe Scrum Master certification marks.

• Exam Format: Multiple choice (single answer) or multiple select (2-3 answers)
• Exam Delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no external assistance, timed
• Exam Access: Accessible on the SAFe Community Platform after completing the SAFe Scrum Master course
• Exam Duration: 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete once started

• Passing Score: 33 out of 45 (73%) for the SSM 6 exam

• Exam Cost: Included in course registration fee if taken within 30 days after completing the course. Each additional attempt costs $50.
• Retake Policy: Immediate second attempt allowed after the first. Third attempt after a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt after a 30-day wait.
