The following are strongly suggested prerequisites for individuals planning to take the SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification exam:

• Possess at least one active SAFe certification
• Experience in launching or participating in at least one Agile Release Train (ART) and one Program Increment (PI)

Participants who successfully pass the certification exam will be awarded:

• A SAFe Release Train Engineer certificate
• A digital badge for SAFe 6 Release Train Engineer to showcase their achievement online
• One-year membership as a certified SAFe Release Train Engineer, including access to the RTE Community of Practice
• A comprehensive guide on using the SAFe Release Train Engineer certification marks
• Access to an array of educational materials to assist certified professionals on their SAFe journey

Upon completing this course, you will gain access to the exam and all associated study materials as part of your Learning Plan on the SAFe Community Platform.

• Exam Name: SAFe 6 Release Train Engineer Exam
• Exam Format: Multiple choice (single answer) or multiple select (2-3 answers)
• Exam Delivery: Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no external assistance, timed
• Exam Access: Access the exam via the SAFe Community Platform after completing the SAFe Release Train Engineer course.
• Exam Duration: 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete once started.
• Number of Questions: 60
• Passing Score: 45 out of 60 (75%) for the RTE5 exam
• Language: English
• Exam Cost: Included in the course registration fee if taken within 30 days post-course completion. Each additional attempt costs $50.
• Retake Policy: Immediate second attempt after the first. Third attempt after a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt after a 30-day wait.
